HD Audio reaches live broadcast threshold

In a significant breakthrough, AVK’s engineering team have now successfully reduced HD Audio production latency to under 3 frames. This means AVK’s pioneering HD Audio, which was already viable for replay (SloMo, Super SloMo) and deferred production (Highlights, Analysis and Archives), is now ready for live production thereby opening exciting new horizons for sport broadcasters.

AVK partners with BLT

AVK systems of Switzerland and BLT of Italy have entered into a partnership agreement. As per the terms of the agreement, BLT’s SloMo replay solution “SMS”and AVK’s pioneering SloMo audio solution “LSA” will be rendered fully compatible. Broadcasters using BLT SMS for SloMo replay production can now use AVK LSA as an add-on to deliver breathtaking HD Audio with their SloMo & super Slo Moreplays. AVK is the global leader in HD Audio solutions for sport broadcasting. BLT is the market leading vendor of video servers and SloMo replay solutions in Italy with significant deployments around the world

Series A investment round completed

AVK systems has concluded its series A financing round with PAWAR holdings. The financing is aimed at propelling AVK system’s SOUNDFIVE^TM product line footprint beyond field sports, and ensuring adequate operations support for the upcoming commercial deployments in 2011 and 2012.
